Odylique (previously known as Essential Care) is renowned for creating products of the highest quality. We are not a conventional beauty company. Our skin care and makeup is therapeutic, free from artificial chemicals and common allergens, and is used by many people who cannot tolerate high street products.
Gardener & Handyperson (part-time)
Odylique - the trading name of Essential Care (Organics) Ltd - is a British brand of premium organic cosmetic products based in Mildenhall, Suffolk.
We are looking for an energetic gardener and handyperson to help create and maintain a botanical garden, as well as assist with general carpentry and maintenance jobs.
For the first 2 months there will be more basic carpentry and handyman work than gardening as we are remodelling our new premises in Mildenhall.
The ideal candidate would have experience in most of:
- Maintaining a medium-size flower, fruit and vegetable garden
- Gardening organically (i.e. without artificial pesticides and herbicides)
- Creating flower beds, pathways
- General building repairs (e.g. painting, changing a door)
- Accurately making simple furniture (e.g. a table or shelving out of pallets)
- Basic carpentry (e.g. dismantling and erecting good quality stud wall partitions)
- Working tidily and safely.
And have a passion for nature and plants.
The role is part-time (maximum 20 hours per week) between Monday and Friday. There is some degree of flexibility in the hours.
We would like the successful candidate to start on February 1st 2017.
