Fabulous fruits - an A - Z guide to the organically produced wonders which give up their luscious secrets to provide Essential Care organic skin care with uniquely dynamic properties:-
Avocado oil from the cold-pressed fruits is especially rich in minerals and skin-essential healing antioxidant vitamins A, D, E and beta carotene. It also contains phospholipids which naturally form part of the skin's cell membranes maintaining its moisture, elasticity and protective barrier function and plant sterols which stimulate collagen formation. Combined with it's rapid absorption deep into the skin's layers, this rich oil is great for dry or damaged skin and anti-aging skincare.
Bergamot essential oil pressed from the peel of an inedible citrus fruit gives the distinctive flavour to Earl Grey tea. Its delightful aroma is prized in perfumery as well as skin care and aromatherapy for it's great cleansing, balancing, calming and uplifting properties.
Cocoa butter from the cold-pressed fruit seeds (beans) of the tropical cocoa palm is higher in antioxidant polyphenols than green tea, so has great anti-aging qualities, is skin softening and emollient and smells deliciously of chocolate.
Coconut oil is pressed from the fresh or dried white flesh of the large fruit 'seed' of the tropical palm. It is light textured, quickly absorbed and reknowned for being a great hair conditioner as well as a protector of the skin from bacterial infection and premature aging, helping to keep it firm, elastic and supple. Our virgin oil is cold-pressed and retains the delicious sweet aroma of fresh coconut along with all its beneficial antioxidant and healing qualities.
