The Digital Revolution Goes Green - Odylique Blog

The Digital Revolution Goes Green

Although Organic Beauty products have been around for some time (we celebrate our own ten year anniversary this month), until recently finding advice and information about which products were well-received, new legislation updates and tips was not always easy.  Often it meant considerable research which meant that for many, Organic and all its benefits remained a bit of a mystery.

Over the last eighteen months we have seen a real shift in this through the advent of the Green Blogger.  Educated, informed people with something to say are setting up blogs purely to talk about the power of organic and their experiences.    Whilst this means some mis-information on occasion, we have found some truly inspiring individuals passionate about the use of clean, environmentally friendly beauty.  From Anti-allergy advice to trained make-up artists using organic products on their clients we are thrilled to see so many people turning to a more natural approach in their skincare and lifestyles.

We have had some wonderful mentions and reviews over the last twelve months and been introduced to some really inspiring bloggers so in the spirit of sharing we have listed five we think every Organic enthusiast should know about – share yours in the comments!

SugarPuffish (http://sugarpuffish.blogspot.co.uk/)

Run by Sarah, Sugarpuffish is a fantastic resource for those of you with skin and food allergies.  Sarah regularly reviews products with a view to how they affect her allergy prone skin and has a fantastic section on ingredients to avoid.  A lifelong Eczema sufferer, Sarah really understands the issues facing those with skin complaints and is passionate about products that really nourish.

Organic Make Up Artist (http://www.organicmakeupartist.blogspot.co.uk/)

Run by make-up artist Laura Sessions, this blog is a treasure trove of tips and advice on using organic cosmetics and make-up effectively.  Her expert eye is excellent and really picking out the benefits and weaknesses of a product and she understands what people want in their make-up really, really well.  A fantastic advocate for looking great naturally!

Biteable Beauty (http://www.biteablebeauty.com/ )

Run by the award winning Rebecca Goodyear, this blog is a fantastic resource for those looking to begin to incorporate Organic into their lifestyles.  Informative, fun and fresh, the blog is packed with useful information and has clear sections for each type of individual, from make-up to well-being.  We especially like the books section for finding a great read!

The Beauty Shortlist (http://www.thebeautyshortlist.com/)

A Multi-award winning blog from Fiona Klarinedes, The Beauty Shortlist is packed with expert reviews, interviews and information on what is happening right now in the world of Organic.  We love it for its honesty,  knowledge and variety – there seems to be something new on there every time we look – a must-have-read for beauty junkies!

We Were Raised By Wolves (http://wewereraisedbywolves.blogspot.co.uk/)

Run by Evelyn, We Were Raised by Wolves is one of our favourite blogs for it’s freshness and approach.  We love the way that products are looked at in the way any one would look at a product so the reviews are honest, fair and impartial; important when choosing the right products for you!

There are loads more Organic Bloggers out there – we have listed some more we love to get you started but we definitely recommend Organic enthusiasts take some time to have a look and enjoy!
