Last night, as leading figures from the natural and beauty world gathered for the launch of the 2015 edition of the Natural Beauty Yearbook, the annual Who’s Who in Natural Beauty top 25 list was announced.
Abi was delighted to discover that she had remained in the top 25, after a year over-seeing the biggest changes to the brand in its 11 year history. She said:
“The past twelve months has seen Essential Care become Odylique, a number of new products created and a brand new website launch. All of this is part of our desire to see organic beauty and skincare become as accessible and enjoyable as possible, in particular for those with sensitive skin concerns, without compromising the integrity or quality we have been known for since our inception as one of the very first organic brands all those years ago.
“To be in the company of such well regarded, influential names in the industry will always be thrill and with us all working so hard to promote the cause of organic, an opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements is always a wonderful thing.”
“We were particularly excited to see people like Sonia White (Lovelula), Rebecca Goodyear (PR), Imelda Burke (Being Content / Telegraph.co.uk green blog), Fiona Klonarides (the Beauty Shortlist) and Victoria Brock (Souk Souk) doing so very well. We can make the most beautiful, effective products in the world but these are the voices bringing them to the wider market, such an important element of growing and developing the industry”.
The reception took place at Whole Foods Market’s Fulham Broadway store. The top 3 Who’s In Natural Beauty 2015 were:
- Kirstie Sherriff, co-founder, Pinks Boutique
- Sonia White, managing director of Amarya and LoveLula
- Alexander and Kim Barani, co founder, Kinetic Natural Products
