Summer Feet - Our Perfect Pedicure How To
It is wonderful walking around barefoot in summer but most of us do like to do a little work to get our summer feet ready to show. To combat cracked heels and ragged cuticles and get your feet looking their best, follow our guide to getting your feet smooth and silky in time for the big reveal:
Step 1: First soak your feet for at least 15 minutes in comfortably hot water to which you’ve added a rich wash like our Ylang Ylang and Orange Bodywash to soften the skin. Then rest your still wet feet on a towel whilst adding some boiling water to reheat your foot bath.
Step 2 : Masks don't have to be alll about clay and gunk. Our delicious, edible Coconut Candy Scrub is a wonder for both exfoliating and gently drawing out impurities. Scoop a generous amount onto your hands and with your ankle on the other knee so your foot is above the water, apply half the paste to it massaging well into the heel.
Put that foot into the water and repeat with the other foot. Rinse and dry your softened hands and relax your feet in their lovely fragrant coconutty spa until the water cools. Rinse and pat your pampered feet dry.
Step 3 : Now for the clever bit. Massage a super rich healing balm like our Organic Ultra Rich into hands and feet, slip into some cotton socks or gloves and just relax. When you take them off rough skin and ragged cuticles will be a thing of the past!
